How to Make Money on YouTube

If your looking for a way to make money online, you’ve came to the right place. YouTube is becoming incredibly huge. Here are some statistics that had me going WOW:

  • Over 1.3 Billion People Use YouTube
  • 5 Billion Videos Are Watched Everyday
  • 300+ Hours of Videos Are Uploaded Every Minute
  • YouTube on mobile alone, reaches more 18-34 and 18-49 year-olds than ANY cable network in the US.

YouTube has turned many ordinary people, from video game gurus to dancing ballerinas into millionaires. There are even little kids who become millionaires by simply recording their pets. Your probably thinking “How can I get a slice of that pie?”

I’ll show you my Top 5 Ways to Make Money on YouTube.

#1) Google AdSense

Once you Make a YouTube Channel you can apply to join the YouTube Partner Program. Keep in mind that your channel must have at least 10,000 lifetime views before your application can be reviewed. Once accepted you can connect your YouTube channel to an AdSense account in order to earn money and get paid for your monetized videos.

Tip: If you are new to YouTube I would advise you not to rush into monetization. As a new member you should be focusing on putting out great content and building your brand / subscribers.

#2) Affiliate Marketing

This is one of my favorite way to make money on YouTube. I’ve made good money on Affiliate Networks like Clickbank, JvZoo and MaxBounty by making video reviews and posting them on my Kody Knows YouTube Channel. There’s also affiliate programs for almost every big company like Walmart, Amazon and eBay.

Adding affiliate links to your YouTube videos is the easiest way to make money without having a big subscriber base.

#3) Create Products & Promote Them

Creating your own products and promoting them on YouTube is a great way to make money. I did very well promoting my Bing Ads Training course on my YouTube channel. I would show my personal results with Bing Ads and how much money I was making by direct linking to affiliate offers and my audience ate it up.

Results: I created the course early in 2017 (About 6 Months Ago) and sold over 250 memberships at $47 per membership for a total of $11,000+ in profit. This really helped put my Kody Knows channel on the map.

#4) YouTube SEO to Increase Traffic

You are going to need views to make money on YouTube. In order to get these views, you need to put out great content and get your video in front of as many people as you can. You can maximize your audience reach by using Search Engine Optimization or SEO strategies. By doing keyword research, you can optimize your metadata: Title, Tags, Description.

#5) Sending Traffic to Your Associated Website

There is a good chance that you came to my website from my YouTube Channel. Associating your YouTube Channel & Website / Blog is another great way to make money on YouTube. This connection helps with ranking on both search engines meaning more traffic and more money in your pocket.
